We drafted international trade framework agreement for stable business
In 2009 we were addressed by a Client who wanted to supply goods from China. The Client wanted to minimize possible risks related to supplying failures and disputes with customs authorities.
Within this project our lawyers drafted a bilingual international trade framework agreement of goods supply. The drafted agreement provided mechanisms of Client protection in case if counterparty would not fulfill its obligations and contained wordings which minimized chances of disputes with customs authorities (these stipulations were developed on the base of Ukrainian enforcement practice).
As the result our Client has not been facing any disputes with customs authorities for 2 years and when agreement has been breached by suppliers, Client’s interest protection did not require significant efforts.
