In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, when disinfectants became urgently needed, many entrepreneurs began importing or producing them, which raised the question of their registration. In response, the Ukrainian government temporarily simplified the disinfectant registration procedure, allowing products to be registered within just one month. However, the registration was valid for only five years. As a result, everyone who registered disinfectants in 2020 is now, in 2025, required to go through the registration process again — this time for another five-year term.
