Recently, legislators have begun to actively make changes to the Directory of qualification characteristics of workers' professions, issue 78 "Health", and added such a position as a medical director instead of the chief physician. Now the medical director is more about administration than treatment, as was the case with the chief physician. One of the documents, thus introduced into the package of documents of the MC, is the job description of the medical director.
