Case in point: Equipment from the equipment list
In September 2019, we were contacted by a Client who wanted to obtain a Medical License in general practice specialization - a family practice physician.
The specifics of this case was that the Client did not want to buy some of the equipment that was required for the family practice physician according to the equipment list.
The list of equipment for the family practice physician was amended on January 26, 2018. And as a result, some equipment from the additional list was added to the main list, for example:
- a centrifuge;
- a passenger car (a four-wheel drive vehicle);
- a motorcycle or scooter.
It’s worth remembering that the availability of a complete list of equipment required by law is one of the prerequisites for obtaining a Medical License.

In order to obtain a Medical License, you must gather the following list of documents:
- An application for a license;
- A document on the condition of the material and technical base, availability of the necessary personnel;
- A list of documents that are submitted to the Ministry of Health.

We provided the Client with a package of documents, which did not contain the equipment added from the additional to the main list.
Having analyzed the practice of the Ministry of Health, we did not add a centrifuge, a car and a motorcycle, as the lack of the specified equipment did not affect the work of the family practice physician. However, in such a case, we must be prepared for the fact that the Ministry of Health can insist on the mandatory inclusion of certain equipment in the list and the license documents will have to be re-submitted. We warned the Client about this at the very beginning of our cooperation
After the Ministry of Health have reviewed the documents, the Client successfully obtained a Medical License.
