Stage 1. Organising drive.
At this stage, we establish whether the person meets the qualification requirements, the actual possibility of obtaining a permanent residence permit, and develop a plan of official recognition in Ukraine of the documents on work experience/education/income amount, if they were issued abroad.

Stage 2. Preparation of documents and legal support of the procedure for obtaining a work permit for a foreigner
The execution period is 7-10 business days. You do not need to be in Ukraine to pass this stage.
The employment procedure is initiated by the employer with the support of our lawyers. The Client will have to provide us with:
- a high quality photo in electronic form;
- a high quality scanned copy of the passport (full spread with photo, with no cropped edges).
The procedure results in a work permit for a foreign IT-specialist.
Stage 3 (can be carried out in parallel with the following stage). Obtaining an identification code for a foreigner.
The execution period is 2-3 business days. To pass this stage, a foreigner is not required to personally stay in Ukraine, but he/she needs to issue a power of attorney for our lawyers to perform such actions (we will provide a draft of the power of attorney).
Stage 4. Support of the procedure for formalizing the employment relationship between the Ukrainian employer and an IT specialist.
The execution period is 2-3 business days. You do not need to be in Ukraine to pass this stage. Our lawyers will carry out all the necessary actions on the basis of the power of attorney.
As a result of this stage, we formalize the employment relationship of the foreigner with the employer.
Please note! You should remember that after obtaining a work permit you have 90 calendar days to conclude an employment agreement, otherwise it will be annulled.
Stage 5. Preparation of documents and legal support of the procedure for obtaining an immigration permit for a foreign IT-specialist.
The execution period is 3-6 months.
This stage includes the preparation of documents for obtaining an immigration permit, as well as obtaining recommendations from the Ministry of Immigration and the Ministry of Social Policy regarding the approval of the issuance of an immigration permit for a foreigner.
It is necessary to remember that a foreigner must apply for a permit in person:
-
to the territorial subdivision of the SMS in case of legal stay on the territory of Ukraine;
-
by applying to the consular office of Ukraine in the country of his/her citizenship or legal residence in case of staying abroad.
Once submitted, the SMS reviews the applicant’s file on whether there are grounds for issuance/refusal to issue a permit. As a rule, the period of review is about 3-4 months, and in “complicated cases” it takes much longer. However, if there are recommendations of the Ministry of Social Policy to approve the issuance of a permit, this procedure is significantly accelerated and simplified.
Stage 6. Preparation of documents and legal support of the procedure for obtaining a permanent residence permit for 10 years.
The execution period is 15-18 business days.
Please note! A foreigner must personally submit documents for obtaining a residence permit to the territorial subdivision of the Migration Service. In this connection, the Client must arrange legal stay in Ukraine (obtain a visa, if necessary). Our lawyers can help with this as well.
Stage 7. Registration of the foreigner’s place of residence in Ukraine.
The execution period is 2-3 business days.
Ukrainian legislation stipulates that after obtaining a temporary residence permit, a foreigner must register his/her place of residence in Ukraine within 30 days.
