The legislation of Ukraine establishes that during martial law, male students aged 18 to 60 are not subject to conscription for military service during mobilization. But at the same time, the Rules for crossing the state border of Ukraine determine that they do not have the right to cross the state border during the war.
Also, since September 2022, due to the mass forgery of documents, the military leadership has canceled the opportunity for male students who study at foreign universities to travel abroad.
