On June 11, 2026, Ukraine marked its first-ever dispensing of medical cannabis-based medicinal products via electronic prescription. This milestone signaled the actual launch of the practical implementation of medical cannabis legislation and opened a brand-new segment of the pharmaceutical market.

Currently, medical cannabis-based pharmaceuticals are already available across 36 municipal and 30 private pharmacies.
